Play-Doh Fun At Sea Life Center – WIN A Family Ticket!

When we were at sea Life London a few weeks ago the children took great delight in sitting down in the Play-doh activity area which was set up as a special activity for February half term and when we heard that Play-Doh would be bringing their fun to other Sea Life centres around the country we knew it was going to be a winner to visit one of the two we have close by, Great Yarmouth or Hunstanton! We hadn’t been to Hunstanton’s Sea Life centre for absolutely ages so we plumped for that one in the end, especially because it also has an amazing seal area that we couldn’t wait to see again!

Play-Doh at sea Life centres!

We love Sea Life centres who are owned by Merlin Attractions and would visit frequently when we lived in London as it’s on the South Bank and so accessible. In fact travelling to the Hunstanton or Great Yarmouth Sea Life Centers, in our home county of Norfolk, takes far longer would you believe yet they are both actually on the beach which makes it super exciting and a little bit different to London visiting!

Look just behind Florence – that’s the Hunstanton Sea Life Centre!

As I mentioned, Hunstanton takes particular interest in seals and they have a dedicated area for their seal rescue and hospital which is very interesting and when you’re just by the coast you can hop down to the beach and hope to see some in their natural habitat afterwards – it really does have the most beautiful setting and while I LOVE the Southank… Watching the sun set over the beach at the end of the day kind of nipped in the bud my favorite Sea Life Centre I’m afraid! They obviously have all the beauty of other Sea Life centres with fish and creatures to wonder at but they are a little bit different at Hunstanton somehow… I can’t put my finger on it but it’s very special even though it’s not huge. They also have an immense outdoor play area which the children had a brilliant time playing in and for us that day it was just out of the wind so that we could bask in the spring sunshine! It just feels gorgeous to be so close to the sea and breathing in all the salty air – we highly recommend a visit – which is handy as we are giving you the chance to win a family ticket for two adults and two children if you read down a little further!

I love their penguin area which is outside next to the seals and otters – I’d say it’s more than just your average Sea Life Centre in Hunstanton!
But they still have all the lovely fish tanks with lots of sting rays, sharks and everything else we love! The shark tank is immense as is their walkway tunnel which unlike London didn’t feel busy at all. I’m not knocking London, just saying this is a whole different experience!
Lots to see from inside the tanks and out!
And a great rock pool to dipple in too!

The competition we are running is in conjunction with Play-Doh who now have their activity tables set up in Hunstanton amongst other Sea Life Centers and this Play-Doh fun is completely included in your ticket price – you will get to build your own sea creature to add to the creation station table or take home with you! We sat down here and had lots of fun making again!

Well… The baby just liked to play with the pots!
But Florence and jimmy got very creative inspired by what they’d seen at sea life Hunstanton!
Making a gorgeous sea horse for Florence!
While Jimmy plumped for a…
Clown fish!
And we saw lots of other brilliantly made sea creatures from other children who’d been there before us!

The Play-Doh is all there and ready to be used and someone from the Play-Doh team is on hand to help and guide. They all really loved this moment of calm in an otherwise busy day out and came home full of wanting to make more. Play-Doh is such an easy and fun thing to play with and it crosses all ages for enjoyment including the grown ups!

just a little bit of Play-Doh and the sea is your oyster!
Some people had got very creative!
While the baby still just wanted to play with the pots!
But everyone gets a sticker regardless!

Now the Play-Doh stations are still going strong at Hunstanton and great Yarmouth as well as Loch Lomond, Manchester, Bray, Weymouth, Blackpool, Brighton and Scarborough Sea Life centres until the 6th of may 2019 and if you’d like to win a family ticket for up to two adults and two children to redeem before the end of the Play-Doh campaign (06/05/2019) then all you have to do is enter the Rafflecopter form below to be in with a chance!
