Your ChocFace Or Mine?!
Lockdown has proven we have hade to get creative when it comes to celebrating – from parties (thank you Facebook Portal for your many family quiz night allowances), to entertainment (we had an army themed day for Jimmy’s 8th birthday which was amazing), to gifting (let’s face it, no shops and we have HAD to shop on line). And for the large part we have realised we can do it, we don’t HAVE to go to shops to find presents for people but finding something a little bit different and unusual is always a bonus and boy have I found a brilliant gift!
I was sent a sample from ChocFace and discovered you can actually enjoy a present by stuffing your face WITH your face, how fun is that?! ChocFace will make up your very own photographs onto white chocolate (using edible ink) which is then stuck onto delicious Belgian chocolate slabs and boxed into DVD sized packaging which is slim enough to fit through the letterbox. You upload your pics (or choose from art work boxes they have already made up – BoJo down the hatch anyone?!) and they will send them in the post to you or your giftee! Another bonus to lockdown shopping for gifts is that you don’t even have to go to the post office and make sure it’s sent on time, simply click and pay and it’s done for you!
Sent out via Royal Mail from Derbyshire after their 1-2 days processing time means in just a few days your box of ChocFace is ready to be eaten – and admired if you can wait long enough to look. I LOVE how the box is very glamorous and comes with a bespoke sleeve and we all had a jolly good laugh at our mugs on chocolate. The kids have been in raptures about them! Oh and they were pretty tasty too. I could barely bring myself to break into our faces but the children had no such reservation so it was a case of eat, or be eaten (literally) if you wanted to try in this house., I took one for the team (reviewing innit) and had a nibble on Jimmy – he tasted lush!
Love this idea, what a fun and novel present. Really made us laugh and gave us a treat to boot, what could be better than that?!
A box of ChocFace (personalised or from their art collections) costs £14.95 including postage and is a real talking point for something that little bit different yet gimmick it is not for it’s chocolate so at the end of the day… It’s useful too! Well, I can always use chocolate, I don’t know about you?!
We were gifted our box of ChocFace as part of a collaboration.
