Review – Peppa Pig’s Surprise!

Posted in Uncategorized

Yesterday, for our annual festive get together with our friends at Modern Mummy, we kicked off the fun with a trip to see Peppa Pig live in her new show. Every year around this time I write about what’s new on stage from Peppa and every year I have lots to report as the creators do keep coming back with bigger and better ideas although after this latest offering I’m not sure how they will manage to top it! Peppa Pig’s […]

Last year, along with our broods, Katy from Modern Mummy and I had a lovely festive day out in London with lunch and some festive lights sight seeing. We decided that we’d make it a tradition and yesterday we took to the streets of central London for this year’s party! We kicked off with a trip to the theatre where we saw Peppa Pig’s Surprise (read my review here) and then had a look around Covent Garden, climbed on the […]

A Wizard Of Oz Birthday Party!

Posted in Uncategorized

At the weekend we held Florence’s 6th birthday party ahead of her New Year’s Eve birthday. We decided, as we are leaving London, to make it a big blow out event and also hire the hall for a bit longer so that we could stay and have leaving drinks with friends. She chose a Wizard of Oz theme and we decorated ruby slipper cookies, had fancy dress, glitter tattoos by Interplay, hot dogs and chips in really cool wrapping I bought […]

Getting Fashionably Festive With Nutmeg!

Posted in Uncategorized

I love Morrisons and over the weekend when we held Florence’s birthday party and our leaving London party I picked up some brilliantly priced booze for the occasion. I love their Prosecco which is on offer at £6 a bottle right now, or, if you can get hold of it for some brilliant wow factor they are selling magnums for £12 – so at no extra cost! Unfortunately my local didn’t have any of the magnums left so we made do […]

From the minute Florence first saw ‘Frozen’ she was absolutely hooked. I was lucky enough that through work as a professional blogger we were invited to the premiere and even thoguh we knew nothing of ‘Frozen’ that morning, from the instant it started, the magic had begun! Florence and her friend who had come with us had eyes that were lit up with Disney wonder and for the whole of that Christmas, despite only being able to find the song […]

Boy she has to be organised though, it’s like a military operation I tell you! Next year […]

The party, which is ‘Wizard Of Oz’ themed is on from 3-5 and then we have told our friends to bring a bottle and join us for leaving drinks afterwards.
