We all know that how you feel has a great bearing on how you look, and, if you’re feeling less than confident this will show on your outer appearance. So, arming oneself with everything you need to feel as good about yourself as possible is the best self-care a gal could treat herself to. That would be my best advice! Feel good, look great, feel even better – it is, what I like to call, the green cycle!

The opposite, a vicious cycle, is not somewhere we want to visit, so for me it’s about implementing the things I know will entice me to be green, confident and feeling my best. It’s not all about looks but as women we are all aware that our day will be better all round if we can walk into a room and feel attractive. The rest of the personal hype just follows.

How then, do we are ourselves with the very subtle things we need to make us feel this way and encourage a green cycle for how we feel and in turn look? Well, it comes from within, of course but there are lots of little things we can do, quite aside from having perfect skin or hair, that will gift us the confidence to always feel our best. Might sound silly but it’s this creation of a self coat of armour which I thoroughly believe in.

If I don’t swim regularly, and exercise the endorphins into my life, I notice a massive change in my mood. That’s science, we all know it, but how many of us make the time to gift ourselves the moments we need to carry through what we know will initiate a green cycle? It’s so important. Like I said, you don one thing right and the rest follows.

I also say to everyone and anyone that we must use our senses to create an atmosphere which sets us on the right path for the day. Smelling great is always something I consider to be important to my mood and well-being as silly as that might sound. Different scents for different occasions can lift, buoy, and create the feelings you desire in your life so choosing parfumdreams, at parfumdreams could just set you up to make you the boss mama you know you can be! Becoming a Goddess, wearing a scent like Alien Goddess ,is more than just being able to walk into a room with a waft of delicious-ness in the air, it is literally coating you with the ability to feel confident and look your best.

The senses play a massive part in the way we feel, although I’m not sure this is something we really consider until promoted to think about it. There’s an acting technique I use when performing called “sense memory” which means we use our senses to remember a smell, a sound, the way something felt, and similar, to portray exact emotions we felt at the time of experience, into a performance. If you implement a signature scent into the way you feel when you wear it you can use this as a coat of armour and the starter to your green cycle every time you need an injection.

This is why the wearing of a perfume which makes you feel confident, powerful, attractive, connected, in tune with… Whatever the emotion you desire, is so important. It’s a non visual stimulant which is incredibly important to your mental health. Now, have you ever had a better reason to spend some money on yourself and buy that treat – it’s cheaper than therapy and boy does it work!

Days when we don’t feel so good about the way we look, or the places we are going, in those moments when walking into a room full of people we don’t know can make us tremble with fear, this is the time you need to bring out the big guns and ensure that you feel the best you can. Like I said, that green cycle is so important, lose it and it’s a downward trajectory.

So, we’ve ticked endorphins and we’ve established that aroma means so much with choosing the right perfume. What else can you do? This isn’t about good hair days and perfect skin, I assure you. Feel great and the rest of that won’t matter. It won’t matter if your bottom looks big in the dress, or if your hair is flicking out at the angle you don’t like. It will mean not a thing should a spot appear on your nose… This is about the way you feel inside flowing out through your body so that despite the things you’d otherwise feel insecure about, you still look your best, make sense?

It all boils down to confidence you see. Surround yourself with the best people, cheerleaders and hype men are what you’re after. I’ve reached an age where I’ve discovered there is no time for anyone who doesn’t bring me joy. We can waste so much energy on trying to please other people who, will never be pleased perhaps and who don’t matter anyway. What matters is you! I’ve discovered that I can make as much time as I need for the right people but I simply don’t have the capacity to waste on those who do anything other than making me feel brilliant. That’s not to say things have to always be perfect, that sometimes we can’t be talking about and dealing with the hard stuff but it’s about who we choose to deal with it with! At 40 I decided only the inner circle would get my time. The inner circle is never closed, there’s room and time for new friends but those non joy bringers, they’ve had to go! You’d be surprised at home much more confident you will find yourself when you surround yourself with the right minds. Women, especially, can be a massive power and force together when it it to have each other’s backs, but it does mean you need women who truly support other women and you yourself have to be one of them!

Genuine happiness for others, even if others have all the things you’d like for yourself and don’t yet have, that’s key to this confidence you know. It’s the bones of it I swear and the seed for growing yourself happy, confident and beautiful while sealing the deal on that green cycle! And that’s how I would say you can create yourself into a Goddess, by being the best person you can possibly be, surrounding yourself with the likeminded and arming yourself with the things which makes all your senses deliver positivity into your life. It’s like manifesting but from a point of something you can physically see as being real, in the moment. So get on it!
