We love this little gem of a place in Norfolk called BeWILDerwood. I’ve written about it loads as it really is one of the most fantastic, magical and special days out we know about!
It’s a children’s adventure park set in a big woods and based around the book ‘A Boggle At BeWILDerwood’ by local children’s author Tom Blofeld. The characters from the book including of course the Boggles, Twiggles and Mildred the Crocklebog are all very much in residence among the tree houses, zip wires and slides!
Everything is great at BeWILDERwood but the baby zip wires have to be our top faves!
We LOVE the baby zip wires and story telling , we LOVE the den building and arts and crafts, we LOVE the play ground, sandpit and extra specially the Toddlewood areas… We just LOVE BeWILDerwood!
This Easter we are going to stay in a caravan in Norfolk for a few days and it just wouldn’t be a holiday without a trip there! Florence is going to be so excited because she’s been asking to go ever since our last visit at Halloween!
Halloween at BeWILDerwood was so much fun!
And now BeWILDerwood is getting ready for a very special Easter 2014 with the launch of a wonderful little book ‘The Pesky Bunnies of BeWILDerwood’ written by Tom Blofeld. Cedric, the inimitable Easter bunny, is making his way to the woods to meet you, and the Twiggle Team are putting on a Boggle bunny-bouncing bonanza. Follow a bunny themed trail, bound down the bunny tunnel and meet Cedric in the Big Egg. Bounce your way out through the hippity hop with a little Easter gift and settle down to hear the tales of Cedric and his friends at the story-telling stage. Visit the Big Hat and make your own ever-so-bonny Boggle bunny outfit. Get your face decorated with a pink or black nose and some wonderfully wiggly whiskers.
Unfortunately, because we are extending our Easter break for a bit, we will actually miss all the Easter fun they have planned at BeWILDerwood! We are going just as everyone else will be going back to school and the Easter Bunny, with his Bouncing Boggle Bunny Egg Hunt will have finished just before our visit. We know we’ll have an ace time anyway because every day is special there but if you DO happen to be around when their Easter activities are on then I can guarantee it’ll be worth a visit!
The Easter activities at BeWILDerwood are from 7th-22nd April. For all information on BeWILDerwood please see www.bewilderwood.co.uk.
