I’m sure I’m not in the minority of parents to four year old girls who are utterly obsessed with Disney Princesses. Stereotypical it may be but Florence simply can’t get enough of them and given the chance would happily spend every single day, no matter what we are doing, wearing one of her Disney Princess costumes.

She has the Rapunzel, Sophia The First, Cinderella, Snow White and Belle dresses (it was a Disney Princess Christmas and birthday recently for us) but it certainly doesn’t stop at the dressing up! We have CDs of the music, dolls of the Princesses and of course, we watch the actual films too! At the moment Florence’s absolute favourite is ‘Frozen’ which even I have to admit was pretty good and I can see why she loves it so much!

Imagine her delight then when I asked her if she’d like to play with the new Disney Palace Pets range of toys from Character Options. There is a Palace Pet for most of the Disney Princesses and Florence was sent the Pamper and Beauty Salon Set which comes with everything you need to preen your pet as well as of course, a pet, the cat that belongs to Rapunzel. She was thrilled! To go with the beauty salon we also got sent a Fury Tail Friend, a Primp and Pamper Pony and a Talking & Singing Pet. The range is pretty extensive and with prices from £5.99 there’s something for every budget, including a pocket money one!

To say Florence was bowled over is a bit of an understatement!

She’d not heard of Palace pets before as far as I know but instantly recognised them as Disney and belonging to the Princesses. It took us a while to get them all out of the boxes because there’s lots of little bits and with brushes and tiny hair clips is suitable for ages 4+. Little bits like this is just up Florence’s street and she was instantly smitten!

This is the Talking and Singing Pet belonging to Ariel!

The Talking and Singing Pet is bigger than the others but has a necklace which when pushed makes her produce the sounds. She has a brush and a tiara as well as coming with a little booklet all about her! All the Palace pets come with a booklet and on the back of each box is a bit about who is inside the box and who they belong to Princess wise!

The back of the box gives you a little bit of story behind the pet!

A Furry Tail Friend and A Primp and Pamper Pony!

Blossom, the Furry Tail Friend on the left belongs to Mulan and Bibbidy, the Primp and Pamper Pony is Cinderella’s. Each one comes with a brush and tiara and the pony also has some clips and her carriage!

Florence thought they were absolutely brilliant and was super pleased with them, especially with the Pamper and Beauty Salon Set. She has been playing with them ever since and included them in her games with her Princess dolls as well as separate games on their own.

The sets are really good fun!

Pink, sparkly and Disney Princessy. Well, I knew this would be a hit with Florence but as a note from a parent I want to point out that these toys are good quality, sturdy and very interesting! I think they’re excellent value for money!
