Stick Man Live – 2025!

Stick Man is back in his family tree for the 2025 festive season and after changing theatres last year, from the Leicester Square, to The Bloomsbury, they have clearly made the choice that the latter is a far better branch for these sticks to love for their run, and I agree!

So, The Bloomsbury hosts the show for 2025, which I always say is the best children’s theatre I have ever seen. I’ve been reviewing this show for about 14 years now, and it never gets old, never gets topped by anything else, and continues to just be one of the most lovely moments in my and my children’s calendar, even my big kids still love it, but the delight in my little one’s eyes is something very specially magical.

3 actors, one of whom plays the music, with minimal props and set, create something incredibly immersive which takes you right inside the pages of this favourite story. The first time I saw the show, the actor playing Stick Man had a Sottish accent, I have forever more read Stick Man as Scottish, and the songs from the show, are sung with every re-telling, at every bed time (of which this story is chosen often).

We love Stick Man and sadly, I cannot make the press performance this year to get in first with a review of the 2025 offering, but even so, I just know without doubt that it will be as magnificent as ever. We are hoping to see it a little later in the run – wouldn’t want to miss it!
