Wroxham Barns For Witsun Half Term With Unicorns And Wizards!
We had another absolutely tremendous day at Wroxham Barns yesterday as we slid into family half term fun with a high! For the Witsun half term it’s all about wizards and unicorns to accompany their usual fun of farm life, soft play, unlimited fairground rides and more, and with potions and wands to make, spells to cast and a whole field of giant garden games, it’s easy to train as a wizard and a unicorn in order to receive your certified status before visiting real life unicorns in their barn. Honestly, it’s just lovely and we had great fun!
I think perhaps it was the garden games which had us all laughing the most and we wore giant boxing gloves and hobby horsed our way through a game of snakes and ladders and by the time we picnic lunched under cover (it was not the sunshine day for the holidays we had hoped), we were all already exhausted but stull had the fairground rides and mini gold, bouncing pillows, water fight and sand to play in!
The tickets for entry include it all which makes life so much easier. It’s awful when rides cost extra and you have to say no, here it’s just yes, yes, yes please and more of the same!
The whole park has had a bit of a lick and a paint and is looking super sharp as we roll into summer where camping is back for the season, like the tickets (which for half term are £13.99 for anyone over the age of 2), camping (and now glamping) is incredibly reasonable at £195 per pitch your own tent or £250 for a bell tent where you just bring your bedding and bits – no brainer huh! That’s two nights and of course extra hours on the play area, farm and rides as well as many more frills. I really want to go this year and am trying to sort it out. I currently only have one date we could do so I’m looking into availability but I won’t be surprised if the dates have already been snapped up. I’ll keep my fingers crossed that they haven’t!
What a fab day from a team who really understand what families need and want, constantly trying and succeeding to make it an even better experience and we really appreciate that! Well worth a visit this half term!
