My First – The Night Before Christmas!

My First – The Night Before Christmas!

The My First production of the season, The Night Before Christmas has launched and is now in full swing until December the 31st at Norwich venue The Garage (a stone’s throw from Chapelfield Gardens) where your little ones can enjoy perhaps their first taste of live theatre in an immersive production which, as they always offer, a setting which is inviting, non frightening and doesn’t mean they have to sit on their bottoms for the whole show. The clever thing My First does is invite children into the performance where they become a part of it and can help lead the way. If you haven’t taken your little one to a theatre production before then this is the most wonderful way to begin their live performance loving journey.

Explorer Lucy is looking forward to Christmas at home after her journey Into The Snow Globe last year. She’s invited all her mini-adventurer friends round for a party and a reading of her favourite book – The Night Before Christmas. But uh-oh, Lucy’s got her dates muddled and hasn’t got the house ready. The decorations need putting up, there are presents to pile, and what about music to dance to? Can you help?

Expect games, dancing and singing fun. Set in a small and inviting room where softness is always key, children aged 0-4 (primarily – there another production for older children which also has tickets on sale right now for the same venue – A Pinocchio Adventure also looks set to be fab) will LOVE this tale, they will feel a part of it and in the most unthreatening environment will spend 50 minutes in awe.

As luck would have it we missed the show this week due to absolutely terrible traffic but we’re going next week and can’t wait! Have a look at the official photos to see what it’s all about!

Tickets are on sale now for daily performances until the end of the year. Tickets cost £12.50 with concessions at £8.50 and there are relaxed performances on certain dates.

We will be seeing the show as guests of the theatre.
