Norwich Science festival 17th-24th February 2024!

The Norwich Science Festival has begun for 2024 and as it runs from the 17th-24th of February, it covers the whole of half term. There’s a wealth of FREE activities on offer as well as some payable fun and it’s happening all over Norfolk. The hub is at the Forum library in the heart of the city centre where you will find daily activities on offer to be enjoyed in a free flow style. No need to book, just show up and enjoy the Explorium with hands on science fun in abundance. We popped in yesterday as we were running from thing to thing and it was a real struggle to drag Raffie away!

We will be back, of course, and it looks like we won’t be the only ones for even on a wet, grey, Sunday, the place was thronging yesterday with inquisitive little faces all enjoying and exploring the tables and science experiments which are completely FREE to take a look at and try your hand with.

I mean, what a resource and aren’t we lucky! To not visit would be looking a gift horse in the mouth!

As well as this there are trails by the beach, theatre performances and so much more including the fantastic poo trail as Pensthorpe which I wrote about last week. You might not know that Pensthorpe are actually this year’s Norwich Science Festival main sponsor, so you can expect lots of their brilliance running throughout; from meeting them out on tour in the Forum to finding them in their natural habitat!

Us at Pensthorpe – we are annual pass holders so they feel like an old glove and still, we never get bored!

The Norwich Science Festival can fill those rainy days, provide a massive injection of knowledge, thirst for more of it and education which is delivered in a hidden veg capacity (the best kind)! So do check out their WHAT’S ON page for the week and pop into the Forum for a play and to pick up their hand book whcih has everything you need to know about what’s on and when!
