Wicked Wildlife At Pensthorpe For October Half Term 2021!

Wicked Wildlife At Pensthorpe For October Half Term 2021!

Us at Pensthorpe for Halloween Half Term!

When aren’t I banging on about how brilliant Pensthorpe Natural Park is? I know, we love it! We love the fact it caters for all ages (baby to Gram), we adore the park (inside and out), can’t get enough of the walk ways (with their activities along the way), miss visiting the red squirrels and flamingoes if we haven’t been for a while and when they do pond dipping or we have time to build a den it’s the cherry on the cake – this place is awesome and while day tickets are ace, an annual is such good value I have to always ask “why wouldn’t you?” – £45 for pensioners and children (over the age of 3 – under are free) and £50 for adults gives you unlimited access to everything they have on offer including Hootz House (phenomenal indoor play which knocks socks off any other kind of soft play I’ve been to) and Wild Rootz (the outside space of obstacles, play streams, zip wires and more). It’s such good value and we absolutely wouldn’t be without ours! It also gives you access to their special event days which they host over school holidays and for this October, Halloween half term, they have their very special Wicked Wildlife event which is more than just a bit of bug spotting!

Wicked Wildlife!

Wicked Wildlife is running from the 23rd to the 31st of October and included in your ticket price (day tickets are: Adult – £12.95, senior (60+) – £11.95 and children (3-16) – £11.95.) is a terrifyingly fun-packed activity programme of the wicked wildlife trail, a junior guided wildlife tour (Monday to Friday), craft activities every day at 1pm at the WildRootz Marquee and a mini pumpkin train around the WildRootz play area. You can also purchase a pumpkin to carve for £3 and go on a Pensthorpe Explorer Tour for £4 per person. There’s a LOT going on!

Carve a pumpkin for £3 in the carving tent!
Or just decorate one, as we chose to do, on account of the y fact it was too much like hard work! Obviously they can’t give out super sharp knives so we thought we’d wait till we got home but we still made them look awesome!
Look what we found!
Can’t visit without feeding the ducks!
Or riding around the lake!
Look at these three and look at the light at Pensthorpe yesterday, just glorious!

As always we had a great day out for half term – we love it in the holidays but we love it all year round too. It’s the most beautiful place to be!

Jimmy is so photogenic!
Soft play at Hootz House!
Slide fun!
Climbing trees!
Pooh sticks!
Stunning!

It’s advisable to pre book your Hootz (haunted) house fun ahead of your visit to avoid disappointment and don’t forget you will need socks to play in there – you can buy them on site if you do arrive without them. Book Your ticket to the Halloween fun on the Pensthorpe website here: https://www.pensthorpe.com/

We work with Pensthorpe all year round.
