Wroxham Barns For Easter 2023!
Look, I honestly cannot fault Wroxham Barns and yet each season, each holiday, year after year, they get better and better! As a family run business they are in a position to really listen to customers and action points immediately, and boy do they!
At the forefront of Wroxham Barns’ ethos is family, from the unit within who own and run the farm and park, to the way they consider their customers and these days it’s a world away from the small farm park it was when I was little.
Today the tickets you purchase are all inclusive meaning you don’t pay for anything else once on the farm. The rides, the games, the soft play, farm fun, extra activities laid on for the season, whichever season it may be, and anything else. The only time you’ll find yourself dipping into your pocket is to buy a pretty decent icecream to top the day off. The rest, well, your purse can sit back and relax as the kiddos soak it all in. As much as they like. All day!
Prices differ throughout the year which is reasonable I feel, and in this holiday a ticket for anyone over the age of 2 will set you back just £14.50 – again, very reasonable. Extras for Easter are entertainment from site mascot characters Barney and Bella, crafting, an egg hunt and a tremendously decorated park with PLENTY of photo opportunities. This place has always been sweet but it now has a massive cherry on the top. Wroxham Barns is a big player when it comes to days out with the kids in Norfolk!
I’m asked why we go back so often and I have to say because the things that stay, year round, the children love! Bouncing pillows are a massive fave in our house, the bumpy rides and seeing the piggies. We also love the soft play – it’s small but perfectly formed! However, the seasonal changes make it a new experience every visit. We adore Halloween at Wroxham Barns and the summer fun with a foam party from last year is STILL talked about over here!
Water bombs whatever the weather and feeding the animals take our trophy of the best bits of the day but there’s always a chance something new will take that crown as we digest and discuss what to do next while sat in the heated picnic area. One of these days we will go to the cafe, I hear VERY good things and my friend recently waxed lyrical about the afternoon tea which she did completely sans children one school day afternoon and said it was glorious!
It’s worth mentioning also, they have camping on site, ney, glamping actually! Fully furnished bell tents with everything you could possibly require from bedding to a sofa and this is complimented by a state of the art, all singing and all dancing wash room and kitchen. Prices start at £180 for two nights and we could easily squeeze our larger than average family in one as an extra bed can be made available to the already double with two singles. LOVE IT!
