Zippos Circus On Blackheath And Dinosaurs In The Wild For Easter 2018!

This entry was posted in Uncategorized.

We went to London today to do a couple of fun things in a bid to kick the Easter holidays off in style! We were not terribly happy that the first couple of days off school had been full of sickness bugs so we had to make up for lost time and boy did we cram it in and do just that! First off we went back to Dinosaurs In the Wild at the Greenwich Peninsula so that we could show Daddy how amazing it is (see our earlier review of it here) and the dinos even treated us to an extra special Easter egg hunt at the Intercontinental Hotel at the o2! Daddy loved it just as much as we knew he would and we had yet another brilliant time! This is not a cheap day out but it absolutely IS worth splashing out on and is so jaw dropping that even if you don’t have particular dino fans they will probably be ones when they leave!

On our way to Dinosaurs in the Wild after an Easter Egg hunt at the Intercontinental o2 – which was SO glam, I want to stay there!
Dinosaurs in the Wild is a short walk from the o2!

We then drove to Blackheath (after discovering we’d left our car unlocked with the keys in the admission at the o2 – Let’s just say Daddy was NOT happy with Mummy!) where Zippos Circus have set up camp for the Easter period and saw their amazing new show which is also to celebrate 250 years of the circus. 250 years! We’ve been big fans of Zippos for a really long time and their Easter show is always a treat so this extra special one is blinding!

Arriving at Zippos!

Zippos work SO hard and we are never failed to be impressed by them whether it’s at Winter Wonderland for Christmas of throughout the rest of the year. They also run Cirque Berserk which is on a national theatre tour right now and THAT is something else! It’s perhaps not for the tiny ones like the regular circus but very wowing all the same.

On Blackheath we got to enjoy some pretty hold your breath moments as acrobats and horse dancers and clowns entertained us. Actually the clown Tutti is so funny and what an amazing musician he is! We loved every second and of course no visit to the circus would be complete without a stick of candyfloss bigger than your head!

Well done Zippos on another entertaining show and happy birthday!

Zippos Circus is on Blackheath in London until 10th April with shows daily. 12pm, 3pm and 7pm depending on the day of the week. To book tickets please see www.zippos.co.uk or ring the box office on 0871 210 2100.
