#StyleTheSchool Run With Mi-Pac!

Posted in Uncategorized

It’s nearly time for a new school year and to celebrate (ok, we’ve got to find something otherwise we’d just be commiserating) it has to be the bringing back of the #StyleTheSchoolRun hashtag incentive on social media! Along with founder of the project Katy from Modern Mummy and dedicated fashionistas Kara from Innocent Charms Chats and Carissa of Little Likely Lads, I will be, once again, hoping to inspire mums everywhere to get their school run grooves on when it […]

Back To School With Startrite!

Posted in Uncategorized

We are massive fans of Startrite shoes for a number of reasons. In Norwich we are home to the Startrite factory so it’s only fitting but more than that they just do seem to be a cut above. Florence and Jimmy both need a narrower fitting and Startrite go down to a very slim width which is perfect – I have found other brands just can’t seem to compete. Obviously they make shoes for all fittings but the fact that they […]

Camping With Coleman – Cabral 5 Family Tent Review!

Posted in Uncategorized

We’ve had a Coleman tent since 2014 and used it for all of our camping adventures since – to which it has proved brilliant. Before that we had a cheapy thing that we bought with no camping experience whatsoever and it was rather untrustworthy and leaky if it rained. I mean no one WANTS to go camping in the rain but being a resident and camper of Great Britain it is somewhat rather an inevitability so a tent that stays dry […]

Go Ape – Junior Treetop Adventure Review!

Posted in Uncategorized

This time last year I was organising my cousin’s hen do in London where we first of all went to Go Ape for some treetop fun before retiring, of course, to establishments selling bubbles and cocktails. It was a really fun afternoon and something a bit different to do before we all got a bit merry and I thought then that I really had to bring Florence and Jimmy at some point. Waiting for Jimmy to be over a meter tall (or […]

Summer Holiday Fun So Far!

Posted in Uncategorized

We are just over half way through the summer holidays and with three weeks left exactly for us before the kids go back to school I’m reflecting on the fun we’ve had so far! I like to pack it in, keep them busy and whip up as much excitement as I can. Call me crazy at nearly 8 months pregnant perhaps but I just adore our time together and want to make it count! we’ve been all over, camping to […]

Shading TOMS – Ethical Sunglasses Review!

Posted in Uncategorized

I love TOMS, love the shoes, love the ethics (they give a pair to a person in need every time they sell a pair as well as donating substantially to charity with lots of their new ranges) and now I also love their accessories! A while back I went to their flagship store and saw for the first time just how much TOMS have to offer besides shoes… And I fell IN LOVE with their sunglasses. Katy and I both came […]

Superhero Lighting From Philips – Review!

Posted in Uncategorized

When we moved house it was very high on my to do list to make sure that the children had the most brilliant bedrooms. They’d spent too long sharing one room, which also had to house Daddy’s guitars and other instruments and having a midi bed stood over Jimmy’s toddler bed for Florence was rather cramped and uncomfortable. There was no room for them to play and no way they could have their individual personalities indulged in just the one […]

Camp Bestival 2017!

Posted in Uncategorized

This year Camp Bestival was wet, windy and cold. To go with this I am heavily pregnant and had to sleep on a rapidly deflating air bed while my tent swayed (that’s putting it delicately) all night long under gale force conditions – all our poles snapped and had to be taped up with super strong gaffer in between running around it all night long re-pegging. To say that the experience was less than luxury is somewhat putting it mildly yet somehow […]

The Hetty Feather Exhibition At The Foundling Museum – Review!

Posted in Uncategorized

Despite living in London for years and visiting Corams Fields (a park just behind Great Ormond Street Hospital which is free, amazing and only allows adults in if accompanied by a little one) on many, many occasions (it has always been our stop gap when being in central gets too much for the kiddos), we had never been to The Foundling Museum which stands just behind it. The park is only there because of the hospital so it’s very odd that we’d never […]

Have A Doughball Adventure At Pizza Express And Win Prizes!

Posted in Uncategorized

Pizza Express is one of our firm faves when it comes to dining out with the kids in tow – in fact it’s a firm fave regardless of the kiddos but one of the beauties is that when we do take them out to dinner we know that PE is going to cater for them both in the sense of the food AND the welcome! They are always given a special pack to entertain them as they choose their food and then […]
