BeWILDerwood Presents Christmas 2025! BeWILDerwood has opened the marshes for the festive period again, and while it’s a little different in terms of experience, to a regular BeWILDerwood adventure, it’s certainly just as magical as always! The Boggles and Twiggles who live at BeWILDerwood, and who make up the cast of characters beneath the pages of Tom Blofeld’s stories (TB grew up on this land and wrote the stories before building the park) are very present alongside Christmassy characters and […]
Norfolk Days Out
The Wroxham Barns Christmas Experience for 2025 is exceptionally magical and I don’t think you’d find anything else quite like it for the price tag in the area. Top marks all round for the most fun, festive experience for children who will feel like they are in actual Lapland with the most realistic Father Christmas who really has made us question if he might just possibly be… He might you know!
Winter Wonderland Norwich 2025! It’s back, FREE to get into for the 2025 festive season, and better than ever we would say! Winter Wonderland Norwich has well and truly landed Father Christmas’s sleigh, with an incredibly festive bauble on top this year, and the fun doesn’t stop until January the 4th! Day and night the entertainment will be abundant in the Alpine Lodge so you have somewhere to relax and soak up the live music, as you get cosy before […]
Wroxham barns Halloween 2025! There are very many reasons to visit Wroxham Barns throughout the year, the farm, the park, the fun fair, soft play, glamping and camping, fireworks, Christmas, afternoon tea… And my favourite time to visit, Halloween! I mean, don’t get me wrong, we love glamping there in the summer and the Christmas offering is something else (more to come on the 2025 festivities soon), but there’s something about Halloween in general for me that pips it all […]
Banham Zoo Halloween 2025! Over half term I went with my friend, and a selection of our children, for a re-visit to Banham Zoo. We’ve been a few times recently and having been members pre-covid I had thought, on our previous visit, that it may have lost a little of its sparkle. It was still good but… I don’t know, I can’t put my finger on why, but it just felt a little flat. The penguins couldn’t be seen on […]
Prezzo Italian Kings Lynne! Prezzo Italian, as Prezzo has recently re-branded to show their Italian roots in full Mediterranean glory, has just had a brilliantly cosmopolitan revamp in decor when it comes to their Kings Lynn branch and, with its lush new make-over, we were invited to come and sample some of the delights on offer in the much loved Italian eaterie. We don’t have a Prezzo in Norwich (more’s the pity), but have visited in other parts of the […]
Norfolk Tulips! We visited Norfolk Tulips this year for the first time! I was very organised and put a reminder in my phone for the minute they were to go on sale. I had an idea of the date I wanted (Gram’s birthday) and I went in prepared. I was lucky and got through straight away so that we could all go and visit and help raise money for their charity while getting to take pictures in the fields. It’s […]
Wroxham Barns Easter Adventure 2025! At £12 (for anyone over the age of 3), this all inclusive ticket to the farm and park at Wroxham Barns is one of the best value family days out you’ll find! For your entry price you will be invited to enjoy all the regular fun on the farm, with feeding animals, grooming ponies and diving into the soft play, as well as unlimited rides (and smiles) in the fun park, which includes crazy golf. […]
Wroxham Barns 2025! Why do I keep going back to Wroxham Barns? Because it brings smiles like this one, that’s why! And because this gorgeous Broads destination farm changes like a chameleon with the seasons, it’s hard not to find something new with every visit. We last went at Christmas for their spectacular which leaves me wondering why anyone spends money on something like Lapland UK, prior to that we’d enjoyed fireworks night, Halloween, summer fun with glamping and more […]
Banham Zoo 2025! We used to be annual pass holders at Banham Zoo and just had that on a rolling basis for years right up until Covid. They really annoyed me with how they treated annual pass holders and adding on time (or not as the case may be in my case) so after that I just stopped my pass and have visited a handful of times only when they’ve had an offer on day tickets. I do love the […]
