The Reindeer Feeder! Who feeds the reindeer while Santa delivers the presents? The Reindeer Feeder that’s who and if you don’t have one… Well, expect some pretty lethargic reindeer this Christmas because the big FC in red simply won’t have time to do everything now will he?! Look, I’m all over Christmas and I love a bit of a novelty which is exactly what this is but unlike those pesky elves (we started it and now we can’t stop, it’s […]

Personalised Roses Exclusive To Prezzybox! With second lockdown in full swing it dawned on me that by the time I actually get a chance to go Christmas shopping the day will nearly be upon us and my best laid plans for getting on top of the festive magic way ahead of time are well and truly out of the window. Last year I swore was the very last I’d be up until 2am wrapping presents on Christmas Eve and had […]
Poo Curling With Studio! Literally cannot believe the title of this blog post or that I chose to write it and have it there like that but the reason is… That’s the name of the game! What can I say?! Poo Curling, yes, really! I’d love to say there’s only one member of this household who would find great joy in a game named “Poo Curling” alas… the 8 year old is very definitely not the only one. The 3 […]
Clementoni Dynamix Bionic Power By The Science Museum! I’m not wild about buying things which need homes for the big kids. They have board games and stuff coming out of their ears and after Christmas each year it really feels like we have to move house and find one with far more cupboards so to shake that feeling I instead try to make sure they get clothing, gift vouchers or days out rather than STUFF. I do make exceptions though […]
Buy A Gift – Hampers For Christmas! Last week ahead of the Christmas shenanigans (which start early in press – not just print but even on line these days) I was sent a wonderful hamper press sample from Buy A Gift. I love it SO much and think it’s SUCH good value that I shall be buying the exact same one for 3 separate people I know this Christmas. Basically it’s a gorgeous basket (which when I looked into creating […]
We Love Frugi For Christmas! I’m not gonna lie, I’ll be straight with you now, it may only be the early part of November but I’m gonna be on Christmas watch from now on in. This year has sucked for many reasons and Christmas is the perfect thing to look forward to not to mention that actually, it’s starting a whole heap later than it usually does when it comes to press and bloggers, so I refuse to apologise more […]
Pumpkin Katsu Curry Recipe! Using up my leftover Halloween table decoration of a blue pumpkin has been lots of fun. The blue pumpkin turns out to be delicious (far less earthy than orange ones) and has lent half of itself to my sweet pumpkin puree which I have made into muffins, saved some in the freezer for a Christmas pumpkin pie and kept a jar of in the fridge for yogurt topping. You can see how I made the sweet […]
Pumpkin Soup Recipe! I used half my leftover Halloween blue pumpkin to make a sweet pumpkin puree which I used for muffins, yogurt topping and froze some of for a pumpkin pie (see my sweet potato puree recipe here) but with the other half I made a savoury pumpkin puree which went half way to making pumpkin croquettes for a katsu curry (see that recipe here) and half way to making this soup. The soup is super tasty and SO […]
Sweet Pumpkin Puree! I have never had much success with pumpkin recipes in the past having always found them a bit earthy got my tastes. However, when we bought this blue pumpkin to decorate our Halloween table, the man in the farm shop told me how delicious they are and so I thought if it lasted past its primary purpose I would give some cooking another go. Yesterday, over a week after Halloween ended it was still very much within […]
Halloween Half Term – October 2020! It wasn’t the half term any of us thought it would be back in March when we first went into lockdown – I’m pretty sure we ALL thought the pandemic would be over by now and being back to normal might be a possibility. Sadly that’s not been the case but at least here in Norfolk our numbers have been lower than lots of parts of the country and we have been afforded a […]
