Russell Hobbs Satisfry Snappi Dual Basket Air Fryer! I saw the Russell Hobbs Satisfry Dual Basket Air Fryer when I attended the Christmas in July press show and was bowled over by the amazing cookery the chefs were creating using just this very economical on energy little gadget. A full Christmas dinner was presented to me having been cooked in the machine which has dual baskets that can be switched up to create one large on and I thought then, […]
Friday Night Treat Tea – Movie Theme! This week was our first Friday Night Treat Tea of the term because last week we had a thing at school. We’ve gone in strong with a movie night theme as Friday is the best night for a movie! Jimmy, Raffie and posie loved the nachos with plastic cheese sauce (so easy to make and yet they charge an absolute fortune for this in the cinema) and who doesn’t love a wiener hot […]
A Winter Wonderland Party For Florence Is 13! Quite why we decided a birthday party two days before Christmas was the ticket is a little beyond me now. In the throes of the organisation, with the load of Christmas creating on top of me, this felt like a very mean feat indeed. However, Florence’s 13th birthday party with a Winter Wonderland theme managed to be tremendous fun and go swimmingly! Thanks mega time to Gram for making another of her […]
Friday Night Treat Tea – Christmas Theme! We finished school for the term with, of course, a Friday Night Treat Tea with a Christmas theme. Crackers and festive fodder like pigs in blankets, Christmas tree shaped sandwiches and other delights like strawberry reindeer and speciality festive crisps and biscuits. Gold chocolate coins were a must and we couldn’t have had it without a milkshake! Oh we do love a festive tea!
Friday Night Treat Tea – Sheep Theme! This week’s Friday Night Treat Tea didn’t go according to plan… I think we can safely say I’ve done better! However, with a sheep theme (because Posie just LOVES sheep) and some semblance of sheep on the party table the little two really appreciated it all anyway! Cream cheese sheep sandwiches in a flower meadow of leaves and carrots, a hot chocolate sheep (the face, oh my!), a cake pop sheep (I needed […]
Friday Night Treat Tea – Bonfire Night Theme! I think it’s safe to say Raffie was a little concerned about having a sparkler in his drink but how could you do a fireworks and bonfire theme for Friday Night Treat Tea without one?! He did, however, LOVE the bonfire of tomato soup in a mini souffle bowl complete with the candle providing the fire and the wood in the form of toasted cheese and ham sandwiches and bread sticks. And […]
A Halloween Packed Lunch! It will come as no surprise to know that I’m a fan of a themed packed lunch – I love fun food after all and when the boys had to go back to school for Halloween, after a half term build up to it, i couldn’t help myself. I used some of the things I had left over from the party we had and others I made especially for the day! I got a kick out […]
Friday Night Treat Tea – Birthday Theme! Had to be a birthday theme for this week’s Friday Night Treat Tea with Raffie’s birthday over the weekend – we went into the birthday celebrations in style!
