Wroxham Barns For Every Occasion! I was at play group yesterday listening to some other Mums talking about how they’d ended up spending a small fortune at a pumpkin patch in Norfolk over half term and how unreasonable it all was. The place they’d been had charged them for the pumpkin (x 2 came to £12), charged them for the carving, the crafts and other activities and on top of that the experience had lasted only about an hour and […]

Christmas At The Garage 2023 – Norwich! Christmas at the Garage is known for it’s “My First” series which caters to smaller children, from babes in arms to school age their immersive, fun and often traditional with a twist performances have delighted my children over the years. they are a great way to introduce theatre to small ones as there aren’t any rules, the children can be within the performance rather than just watching it and they’ve really changed the […]
Dream Toys – the Top 20 Toys For Christmas 2023! Yesterday the Toy Retailer’s Association published their list of top toys for Christmas 2023 and I have to say guys, I’ve been visiting this press show for a lot of years, they know what they’re talking about! So, what will we all be queuing around the block, seeking out stock in Smyths and Argos for come this festive season? Well, get ahead of the game and look no further than […]
Christmas 2022! We had a lovely, lovely time off despite kicking off with Scarlet Fever for poor little Raffie who tested positive for the Strep A virus and felt pretty dreadful. He soon got better with antibiotics (thank goodness we could get hold of some) and we felt very lucky that he was back to himself before long. We had long days and late nights of having fun with each other. We went out to the theatre and ate good […]
Christmas 2022 At Pensthorpe Natural Park! We do talk a lot about Pensthrope Natural Park as it’s one of our most favourite places to be in Norfolk. As days out go, it never gets old, has something for everyone and most important has an incredibly inclusive price. I wanted to let you know about the massively brilliant price of the annual tickets to visit because they are just so inexpensive it would make the most ideal Christmas present. For just […]
Friday Night Treat Tea – Christmas Theme! We finished school for the term with, of course, a Friday Night Treat Tea with a Christmas theme. Crackers and festive fodder like pigs in blankets, Christmas tree shaped sandwiches and other delights like strawberry reindeer and speciality festive crisps and biscuits. Gold chocolate coins were a must and we couldn’t have had it without a milkshake! Oh we do love a festive tea!
Wonderbly Personalised Books (For Grown Ups)! Wonderbly Peronsliased Books for children are very familiar to me. We have been luck enough to work with them on a gifted basis many times and are also customers having been introduced to the brand and now, their latest offering, invited grown ups into the fun too! Raffie thoroughly enjoys his “Where Are You Raffie Knowles” book by Wonderbly which is a gorgeous book full of stories and fun with each chapter finishing with […]
Into The Snow Globe At The Garage Norwich – A My First Production! The second show in the Imgaitorium at The Garage this festive season launched last night with Into The Snow Globe, an interactive, immersive theatre experience for babies and children up to the age of 5. All In Productions kicked off their double offering with Operation Save Santa, aimed at a slightly older primary aged audience last week and we loved it. This week it’s back to their […]
Say It With Champers! There will be 12 of us at my Christmas dinner table, 6 children and 6 adults and it’s that moment of the day when the cooking is done with the fruit of the labour about to be eaten and everyone gets to toast Christmas together. For the children we will have something special and sparkling ( but non alcoholic of course) for them to clink glasses with and this year, for the grown ups, we will […]
Operation Save Santa At The Garage – Norwich! In typical me and my disorganised style I rocked up to the preview for All In Productions “Operation Save Santa” at The Garage in Norwich with quite the wrong children for the performance. You see, they are gifting us two this year, this one, which is geared up for 5-10 year olds, and a “My First” production (if you’ve been to their offerings before like the panto or Shakespeare then you’ll be […]
